Zee with Cannon and Ball
Cannon and Ball exiting my Metamorphosis Chamber in Drag after being changed from two 1920 Bathing Belles. This was the first half finale of the show and it would bring the house down. The switch was so fast that it did not register with the Audience that the two girls had been switched until the boys were halfway down to the footlights. The effect was quite stunning!

I was an on stage male assistant or one of the ‘Zee boys’ as we were called. It was in 1982/83 and the shows were ‘Zee’s summer Magic’ and Folie A La Carte. This was my first job from drama school and a very interesting start to my career. It was hard but rewarding work and I’ll never forget my time working for you Eric. Thanks for giving me that first job.
